What do you have connecting from your phone into the dj controller to record audio?

Incredible controller, and now it's even more perfect using VirtualDJ and my 1200s connected to it for vinyl or DVS. My only issue is I really wish the parameter knob went from 0-100 much quicker (in one rotation). I mean it's nice to have increments of 1 when you want that but I mostly want to go from 0-100 very fast like my pioneer controller does. Two parameter knobs with each option would be perfect. And the stock reverb isn't that great IMO. How about a couple more options there? More reverbs, more parameters such as XSM, SM, MED, LG, XL depth? Oh and how about the option to remove 1/3 and 3/4 beats? Who uses those? I like to go from 1/8 to 1/4 to 1/2 to 1 a lot in one instance and having 1/3 and 3/4 in there doesn't sound good. I like that they have 1/3 and 3/4 but would rather be able to toggle them off. Would be nice to apply different fx for each channel separately as well.

phew that was complicated. Im hoping to find a way to have my existing turntables and phase remotes with the performer. it is possible but id like everything to me spinning and run smoothly. hopefully an update comes out to enable this but also ..yeah is it completely necessary? still I think im getting a Rane performer

The text descriptions really help. Thank you for making this in-depth video. My critical comment moving forward for Rane with these new hardware effects and the layout is that if future decks and perhaps mixers can implement a splitting of effects per side meaning that you can have two performers apply different effects per side thus it would mean essentially two effects busses. It would also give Rane the possibility to replace that out-dated little screen we’ve seen for centuries now with a new and larger color screen(s). Thank you in advance ;)

When labeling the platters with those white stickers, are there any rules I want to follow when applying them. I noticed that, above the platters, there are two white marks at the 12 o’clock position and at the 2 o’clock position. So, for example, do I want to line up the white sticker strip with one of those markers? Thanks. Also, thanks for pumping out these helpful videos. I’d be lost without them. ✌️

As an original turntablist with decades of playing, House, Soul, Hip Hop, Funk, Break Beat, etc and finding my art through playing vinyl records, with decks and a mixer, this unit goes along way in getting that 'feel', with the quality of the platters. This unit is a creative DJ's dream with the features and effects, I love it and cannot wait to get more familiar with all of what it can do. Nice but I think it would have been better if you demonstrated those effects on vocals, instead of beats and instrumental.

Hey jake do you think you can guys can increase the decay for the reverb in a firmware update? The feedback is good for the “small” reverb but the tail doesn’t last long in my opinion compared to other mixers. It’s decent at 100% but not enough for me. Everything is badass lol
